Habe mich die Tage mal durch all das Material auf meinen Festplatten durchgekämpft, welches ich eventuell für mein Projekt nutzen könnte. Darunter um die 3 Millionen Konzertfotos. Und immer wieder Gedanken, ob ich nicht vielleicht doch etwas ganz anderes machen soll. Ein nettes Weinetikett vielleicht oder so?
Aber weil ich schon immer mal ein Video hochladen wollte, möchte ich an dieser Stelle einen kurzen Mitschnitt von einem meiner liebsten Lieder von einer meiner liebsten Bands auf einem der tollsten Konzerte, die ich je gesehen habe, posten. "Left And Leaving" von The Weakerthans am 17.August 2006 im Berliner Ostbahnhof. Faszinierend sind hier auch die Rauchschwaden, die man hoffentlich erkennen kann. Damals waren Zigaretten auf Konzerten noch cool, auch wenn in diesem Raum gefühlte 45Grad, nur 5Prozent Sauerstoff und keine Ventilatoren waren.
Diese Woche geht's erstmal nach Hamburg, wo ich nen wichtigen Englisch-Sprachtest absolvieren muss. Nachdem ich dort die Reeperbahn unsicher gemacht habe, zieht es mich weiter in die Heimat (Chemnitz) und im Anschluss nach Regensburg, um dort wichtige Personen (René, Marco, Peter) zu treffen und in Bezug auf mein Diplom zu interviewen und auch ein paar Bildchen zu knipsen. Dann würde ich auch ganz gern mal durchstarten…
[ Last few days I used for scanning all my hard drives for material I could use for my project in some way. Amongst it about 3 million concert pictures. Always accompanied by the thought wheter it would be better to do something totally different. What about a nice wine label for example?
But since I always had the strong desire to upload a video, I wanna do this today. Here's one of my most favorite songs of one of my most favorite bands on one of the best concerts I've ever been to: "Left And Leaving" by The Weakerthans, 17th August 2006 in Berlin. Particularly fascinating are these wads of smoke around me (Hope you can see them). This was a time when cigarettes on concerts were still cool, even if there was a temperature of about 113degrees in the room, only 5percents of oxygen and no cooling fans.
This weeks I will go on a little trip to Hamburg where I have to pass a very important English Test. After this I will stop by at homecity Chemnitz and then go to Regensburg for meeting important friends there (René, Marco, Peter) which I wanna interview for my project and take some photos of. And then I would really like to start. Finally… ]

ive got a lotta weakerthans videos from when they played the bottleneck and only about 10 of us showed up to watch... but you will never see these as they embarassingly have me singing along in the audio background...
