Es war eine schwere Geburt, aber endlich steht die Tracklist der Lieder, die mich auf irgendeine Art und Weise geprägt haben:

Dazu gibt's leider kein Video im Internet. Deswegen schaut Euch erstmal hier an, was Frontbursche Dennis Lyxzen vorher gemacht hat. Immer wieder köstlich. Habe schnell mal ein Bild mit Ton unterlegt, damit ihr Euch auch das von mir gewählte Lied anhören könnt:

Gibt's auch kein Video zu. Nur hier könnt ihr einen Ausschnitt aus einem der letzten Konzerte der Band um Rocky Votolato anschauen. Und das ist der oben erwähnte Song:

6. THE WEAKERTHANS - Left And Leaving
Habe ja im Post vom 7.9. schon einen Ausschnitt dieses Liedes vom Konzert in Berlin gezeigt, auf dem ich selbst war. Hier gibt es aber nochmal die Originalversion mit entzückenden Fuchsbildern und da nochmal live aus San Francisco.

7. BRIGHT EYES - Hit The Switch
Meinen neurotischer Freund Conor könnt ihr hier live aus Rochester anschauen. Und hier in Chicago hatte er sogar gute Laune und macht ein kleines Späßchen. Leider kommen beide Versionen live nicht so gut rüber wie im Original.

8. KEVIN DEVINE - Write Your Story Now
Hier hat er es live bei nem Fernsehsender performt und hier in ner Schule (ich hab ihn schon für unsere Niko-Party bestellt!). Hier war er vor vier Jahren in Saarbrücken. Ich auch. Da war er noch ganz jung und langhaarig und weniger routiniert, aber ich hab mich in ihn verliebt. Oder eher in seine Musik.
[ Here he performed the song for a TV-channel (I guess) and there he was in a school (I'm going to invite him to our school's Christmas-Party, too!). Here he was in Saarbrücken (not far away from Trier) like four years ago. I was there, too. Back then he was still so young and long-haired and not as practiced as today, but I fell in love with him. At least with his music. ]

9. SIGUR RÓS - Agaetis Byrjun
Wie tief Musik die Seele berühren kann, auch wenn man kein Wort vom Text versteht, seht ihr in diesem Ausschnitt aus dem großartigen "Heima"-Film. Und da nochmal eine andere Live-Version.

10. JONAH MATRANGA - 14 to 41
Weniger tiefsinnig, dafür aber lustig ist dieser charismatische Herr. Hier die einzige Version, die ich von dem Song finden konnte – ein Wohnzimmerkonzert an seinem vermeintlichen Geburtstag mit viel Gerede und einer Drachenbaumpflanze.

11. BJÖRN KLEINHENZ - Tredje Långgatan 26
Nun auch mal mit Ton. Hier und da zwei nette Auftritte aus Hannover und Berlin. Hier war er in meinem Lieblings-Vegan-Café Hanswurst. Und hier im Hinterhof der Lindenstraße 40, meiner heißgeliebten WG, im Mai 2008:

12. BON IVER - Re:Stacks
Hat uns schon jemand hier mit ein paar netten Fotos hochgeladen. Und hier gibt es Frontmann Justin Vernon live in Montreal zu sehen, wo man hören kann, dass seine Sprech- und seine Singstimme um mindestens vier Oktaven auseinander liegen.

So, das sind'se, meine Liedchen. Huch, sehr männerlastig,… Muss nun auch die Geschichten zu schreiben und weiter Künstler und Freunde interviewen und – und das ist ja eigentlich die Hauptaufgabe – das Ganze GESTALTEN. Dann mal los.
